Hello @Ramaiah ,

Welcome to our community.

Please send the screenshot with the error message here.

Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshooting:

1. Ensure Proper Network Connection: Confirm that your phone is connected to the main Wi-Fi network of your TP-Link device, not a guest network or any other network.
2. Update Firmware: Log in to your TP-Link device’s web management interface and check for any available firmware updates. Keeping your device updated can resolve many connectivity issues.
3. Disable VPN: Turn off any VPN applications running on your phone, as these can interfere with the Tether app’s ability to detect your device.
4. Turn Off Mobile Data: Disable mobile/cellular data on your phone to ensure it communicates only via Wi-Fi with your TP-Link device.
5. Reboot Devices: Restart your TP-Link router and your phone to refresh the connection.
6. Restart the Tether App: Close the Tether app completely (remove it from the background) and then reopen it.
