why satellite is not broadcasting MLO signal
Hi all
I am using be900 as the main router connected to internet, be550 is using wired backhaul connected to be900 as a easymesh satellite.
if I disable MLO, I can get highest signal near satellite be550 with full speed, but if I enable MLO i cannot get any signal from satellite.
Appreciate anyone can help please.
Regards
Lewis

Hello @lewisc ,
Thanks for getting back to me.
To check client connection status, you can access the Satellite Router web UI to confirm which clients are connected to the Satellite Router.
Please refer to How to log in the Web interface page of the EasyMesh satellite router.
You can also compare the client information, including signal strength, etc.
It's very likely that after the main router enabled the MLO network, some devices on the Satellite router automatically connected to the MLO network, causing you to perceive a weakening signal from the Satellite router.
There is currently no news regarding the progress of extending the Satellite router's MLO network. We suggest you keep an eye on firmware updates and official website announcements.

Hello@lewisc ,
Welcome to our community.
Is the satellite router Archer BE550 Pro? Please provide the hardware and firmware versions.
How far is the satellite router from the main router?
Do you mean that if you enable the MLO network on the main router, you cannot detect the satellite router's network? Or you will fail to connect to its network?

Hi @Joseph-TP
Thanks for your reply.
HW: BE900 v2.0
firmware: 1.1.7 build 20250529 release.12784
BE550 (not pro)
firmware: 1.1.2 build 20250317 release.18331
The satellite router is connected to main router by lan cable with concrete wall between and around 25 meters away.
If I disable MLO, I can get strong signal (likely from satellite) otherwise the signal is very weak.
I found some articles in the discussion board says there will be firmware update to let satellite router mesh MLO signal later, is that the case ? if so is there a timeline for this as the threads were from a year ago.
