I have installed the above product but need to change the preferred band to 2.4GHz (to work with my wireless printer).

 

I went into the Advanced section of Device Manager but the option of "Preferred Band" is not there.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi,

 

Not all Wi-Fi adapters have a "preferred band" option.

 

But how does that affect the functioning of your wireless printer?

Thanks for your reply.

 

When I try to install the new printer it says it only works on the 2.4Ghz band.

 

I'll find another way - I'll probably use the cable instead.
