No LAN Loopback-MR200

I have set up dynamic dns successfully on my MR200. Static addressing correctly setup for server. However, I cannot call up the server's dynamic name from the internal lan but can call up from WAN(outside internet). This router does not resolve dynamic addresses from LAN and one has to use IP address to see this server from LAN.
Is there any method to allow LAN loopback on this router without having to resort to modifying hosts file on each pc within the LAN?
Secondly, any sign of DDWRT being developed for this router?
