Model: Archer AX53
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.4 Build 20250926 rel.87654(4555)

Hello,

I already red the other thread (https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/270754).

I recently upgraded my internet speed from 100/20 to 200/20. However, I couldnt get the 200 Mbps download speed. Figured out that the router gets stuck to 100 Mbps.

What I have done so far;

  • Checked if Internet port is 1000 Mbps full duplex (it is )
  • Checked if Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting is set to 1000 Mbps full duplex (it is)
  • Checked the cable. It was fine but changed it with a 2 meter CAT6A Ugreen cable anyway. No changes
  • Rebooted router and modem multiple times
  • Connected my PC directly to the modem. Which gives me constant 200 Mbps. I've used same cable I used to connect to AX53.
  • Checked Wireless to rule out cable issues completely. No changes, stuck on 100 Mbps

As a side note, when I change Internet Port Negotiation Speed Setting to auto from 1000 or vice versa, the connection gives 200 Mbps (my max internet speed) for couple of seconds and drops back to 100 Mbps.

Give a solution please

A soft factory reset (the one that keeps the login info) fixed the issue. Why there was an issue at the first place ? no idea.
