Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 1.37.11 Build 20251201 Rel.43290 (Stable)

Hopefully this might help those looking to:
1. delink OC200 from Omada cloud and/or
2. activate the delink slider on their h/w OC200.

Recently discovered that when internet goes down (went down for 3 minutes) I was unable to login to my local OC200.  Then I discovered that I was logging in using my cloud id  and not my local id.  Maybe this was the cause of no access?

Also had been researching how to decouple from the Omada Cloud but as I could find no recent official documentation (seached high and low) and seeing that the delink slider was greyed out (logged in as cloud id) I finally clued in after looking at my login ids on the cloud login page - doh!

So logged in as local user to my h/w OC200 and finally the delink slider is activated.  Success.

Hi  @respeto1

Thank you for your detailed and practical sharing. Your summarized solution is very accurate and indeed pinpoints the key to the issue.

Regarding the situation you mentioned—“being unable to unbind when logged in with a cloud account”—your understanding is spot on. This is essentially a permission protection mechanism. When you log in with a cloud account, all operational commands must be verified and forwarded through the cloud. It’s similar to the idea that “we cannot disable ourselves.” Therefore, you gain complete control over the device only after switching to a local account login, and the unbind option becomes available.

Your sharing not only helps users facing the same issue but also clearly explains the distinction between cloud management and local management permissions. Such practical experience is highly valuable to the community!

If you have any further discoveries or insights, please feel free to continue sharing, and wishing you stable network connectivity and smooth management!
