I would like to understand the meaning of various symbols as displayed against the connected clients (Network Map --> Clients).

What each symbol means or represents.

Also, can the symbols be changed at user end for each connected client, to suit the type of connected equipment?

Example -

Please let me know as requested and whether these symbols are editable.

Thank you.

Hello @mathewalex ,

Welcome to our community.

As far as I know, the symbols in a Web UI cannot be changed directly.

Some devices with proprietary symbols, such as range extenders, will be displayed using specific icons.

Other devices are generally represented using.

However, you can edit the device name to distinguish different devices.

Hello@Joseph-TP

I understand.

However, an option to change the the symbols/icons would have been better and more user friendly!

Anyway, I did name the devices as suggested but it was somewhat cumbersome identifying the exact device (linking the respective MAC number).

Thank you for your response with a clear explanation of details. Have a great day.
