DPI works when the SDN is running (PC booted up and running Windows) and the Gateway (ER605) is restarted. SDN and Gatewway then are in sync and application analytics works. When I shutdown and boot up the PC initiating the SDN - the application analytics no longer works.

 

My question: is the SDN designed to re-sync when the PC is booted up?

DPI data during the controller’s offline period will not be recorded.

 

To better understand the situation, please let us know the following info:
1. A screenshot of the Device page of the controller, showing the firmware version of the SDN devices;
2. What kind of controller are you using? What's the firmware version?

3. What do you mean by the application analytics no longer works.?
