TL-WR1502x log getting spammed with non-related stuff in client mode
Hello,
i'm using this router in client mode and the red led lights up from time to time (i.e. blue led turns into red) and the log is getting spammed with senseless information like below.
apparently, there is some internal routine which tries to probe/enable WAN port - which is not connected, because not needed in client mode.
what can i do to stop the log spam and avoid led showing red?

the messages also appear when there is NO lan cable connected to LAN or WAN port, so apparently this is not issued/triggered by any external source...

I double checked and i'm sure now, that the events on WR1502x are also causing these "link down" events on my Linux host, where it is directly attached to.
when i disconnect the router and attach it to 902ac router, the link up/down messages go away.
so, there apparently something is going on on the WR1502x which triggers link up/down events on the LAN port

thank you @Joseph-TP for asking, yes i have a support case open for this and engineers are working on this, so there is no reason to open up another case at the moment.
meanwhile we found that these messages are not a lan-side problem but a result from wifi problems with GTK key renewal. it seems the whole bridge including lan side simply goes down if the wifi goes down.
fritzbox seems to have 10s interval for key renewal and the client seems to get disconnected on this. it was confirmed to be a general issue as i could reproduce this with unifi access point - which worked totally stable - until i enabled key renewal. with that, the router would disconnect/reconnect at the set key renewal interval. i had also several occurrences of permanent disconnect, i.e. 1502x didn't come back after disconnecting because of key renewal. so, this is a severe/hard bug which needs investigation (as wifi clients shouldn't disconnect on key renewal, as this is a pretty standard/generic security feature of wifi networks). my tl-wr902ac has no issues with this.
i strongly disrecommend buying this router to be used as wifi client until this issue is fixed,
