Model: Archer AX72 Pro
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.4.5 Build 20250928 rel.17568(4555)

After the update, QoS no longer functions as intended.

The exact problem is that QoS is working when I enable it, but after some time it stops working and I notice big latency when testing the network... so almost every day I need to go in admin panel to disable and then re-enable the QoS in order for it to work.

I observed similar problem with QoS not working in previous firmware versions and technicians assured me that it was fixed - https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/840532 (in this case, re-enabling didn't do anything, so it's not completely the same problem).

Hi @Inferno997 ,

Thanks for contacting our community.

What if you downgrade the firmware back to beta firmware? Does it help?

Or you can try the beta firmware here:What Can I Do If QoS Enabled Causes BufferBloat and High Latency on My Router After Firmware Update?

I don’t want to be using any beta firmware due to security, and I already have tested the beta before, since it was provided by one of your engineers and solved in this topic: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/840532

That makes me ask, why you don’t push this fixes in stable release since this problem is BOTHERING ME FOR ALMOST A YEAR!!! It seems that you are not competent enough to solve a problem that has been an issue for almost a year now..

I will be switching to Ubiquiti because of your incompetent development and lack of support for your hardware. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

Hello@Inferno997,

Thanks for getting back to us.

I understand your feelings and hope to find a solution for you as soon as possible. Based on your description, the anomalies you encountered during this firmware update are different from those you experienced before updating to 1.4.5. Specifically, the router now works normally for a period after QoS is enabled, before network latency occurs.

If you are still willing to cooperate with us in troubleshooting, we will prioritize upgrading and handling your case.

Of course, you can also contact the engineers via the previous case emails to request suitable suggestions.

Thank you for your kind understanding.
