Subject: Archer NX200 Outdoor - Speed capped at 40-50 Mbps on Ethernet despite Gigabit link
Hi everyone,
I am experiencing a frustrating speed issue with my Archer NX200 Outdoor. While the Wi-Fi performance is excellent, the wired connection seems to be heavily throttled.
The Issue:
Wi-Fi Speed: I consistently get between 150 Mbps and 200 Mbps.
Ethernet Speed: When connected via LAN (through the PoE injector), the speed never exceeds 40-50 Mbps.
Important Technical Details:
Link Speed: I have verified that the Ethernet port is correctly negotiating at 1 Gbps (Gigabit). Both my PC network card and my secondary router confirm a 1000 Mbps link status.
Tests Performed: I have tested the connection by plugging the LAN cable directly into a PC and also into a main router for management. In both cases, the link is Gigabit, but the actual throughput is capped at 40-50 Mbps.
Cables: I am using high-quality cables (Cat5e/6).
Since the hardware link is confirmed at 1 Gbps, it doesn't seem to be a cable or port negotiation issue. It feels like an internal bottleneck or a firmware setting that is limiting the data transfer from the 5G/4G modem to the Ethernet port.
Has anyone else experienced this "cap" on the NX200 Outdoor? Are there any MTU settings or Bandwidth Control options that I should check in the web interface?
Thanks in advance for your support!
