Hello,

I have two routers to create mesh Wifi.

The Main router is Tplink Archer Ax12

and satellite device is Tplink Archer C64

The problem is when I hidden SSID from main router the only main SSID is hidden and the satellite router SSID still visible.

Because I had try to power-off the satellite router to recheck. And found the Main router SSID still hidden.

Seem it looks like the satellite doesn't copied all settings from main router.

Thank you.

@Sankas I submitted a ticket on this last month for a 700PRO and 550PRO. They diligently looked in to it but concluded not to hide the SSID because '...the major change in WIFI7 was to add a lot of beacon information to help the clients find the 6GHz asap.' Related to that, my Google Pixel 7 could not connect to the network if hidden. I also had a TP-Link light switch that couldn't connect but a few factory resets on the switch and it connected. I never did a factory reset on the phone as it was too much work to setup again.

@Graveyard Yes, I understood not recommend to hide SSID. But my Router is Tplink C64 Satellite mode with Tplink AX12. i found the problem is Satellite mesh doesn't sync all the setting from main router. even the channel number on 5 GHz. when i try to change the satellite still same channel while main router was changed accoording to setting. but 2.4 GHz is working.

Thanks.
