I got a package of Deco A4 last year.

A week ago, the Deco App says there was a new version to upgrade the system.

The upgrade was done for the principal unit that now is in 1.7.1 20250828 Rel. 43437

But the satellite is not able to connect to it since them.

 

It does not appear in the network elements of the App.

If I connect to it through Ethernet cable, it identifies a "not identified network", but no way to do anything with it.

Led color is something yellow o green. No blinking if it starts with no ethernet cable, just power supply.

But LED blink when it starts with the Ethernet cable.

 

How can be get it in the network again?

Can you please submit your Deco logs. You can find the directions below 

 

How to submit Deco APP log

 

Once the log is submitted please respond to this post with the TKID number and we will then try to get it back online

Hello again,

I manage to connect directly to the web manage app inside the Deco E4, and download directly the firmware in it.

It seems that it was abe to update properly and later although it took some time, it works, and finnaly I was able to find it through mobile and readded to the network again.

We will observe it during these days...

But it looks I manage to solve it.

I follow instructions of method 2 of this webàge https://www.tp-link.com/es/support/faq/2958/

After the firmware was upgraded the satellite unit should of stayed connected and I would like to get it looked into thanks.
