Model: Archer BE3600   Deco X50
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hi,

My Router TP (BE3600) & Deco 3x X50 are not working as I expected (different types of mesh) - both can be returned, so no big deal, but:

I am reaching out to you to get recommandations for my home-NW (I am looking for Router and Mesh):

- Starlink Mini 200Mbit/s (router in Bypass mode)

- approx 450 square meters house to cover + 600 squarem. garden

- be compatible with upcoming technology

- fair price

- IPv6: to connect from extern (starlink only uses IPv6 as fixed addresses according my understanding).

Therefore I would like to use DynDNS (currently I use https://ipv64.net/) - but I am not sure that TP routers can use them as it seems they are limited?

So I think a will need a router and 3-4 access points- mesh repeaters, not sure now if:

A) I should stay with BE3600 (EasyMesh) and find compatible AP or

B) get another router and stay with X50 (Deco mesh system.) or

C) take any other combination

Thx for your feedback

Robert

You can choose between two paths:

1.Use Archer BE3600 a main router and buy more routers to use them as a satellites, i.e build and expand an Easymesh network.

2.Use Deco X50 as a main router and buy more Deco unts to build and expand a Deco mesh network.

It's up to you which way to go - things to consider would be the price and the ease of management for these devices.

TP-Link routers primarily offer free, built-in TP-Link DDNS for easy setup with a tplinkdns.com domain, alongside third-party options No-IP and DynDNS.

These two support IPv6 DDNS.
