Hi,

It is my first post on this website so forgive me if I don't know much but I can't comprehend the versioning being offered through automatic updates in Tplink interface.

I got wifi 7 extender RE405BE currently on version 1.0.9 Build 20251105 rel.30065(554B) (last version listed on website).

I am being offered version 1.3.0 Build 20250911 rel.50840.

I believe TPLINK uses YYYYMMDD based on past experience so the build numbering does not make sense to me, also I can't find any mention of this version anywhere online, same for the model RE225BE 1.3.0 update.

Is this normal? I have seen so many complex hacks, I am paranoid and was thinking this was some hacked version of the model or something.

Is anyone able to easy my worries? Why is such a dated update not on the website yet? Sorry if I sound rude, i am just concerned.
