New system help
Just purchased ax72 router and added an re705x. The extender is getting good speeds on mesh system. I connected an ethernet cable to the port due to an older (not wifi 6) devive. The speed is poor on this device (56) same with wifi to it. But overall speeds are over 350.

If you have a different cable, please try it.
Please connect it to the router directly for a comparison test.

@Joseph-TP i purchased an ax72. Have 500mbs unlimited internet. Have three floors. Have it mounted on a wall high up on middle floor. On that floor and above i get decent wifi coverage. Bottom floor seems quite poor wifi. Added the extender and get speeds on 5ghz band wifi of around 3-400 which is good. I have an tv thats not wifi 6. So i use the extender via mesh to the router and then connected the tv via the extenders ethernet link. The speed is still poor around 60. While the extender is still running on wifi at around 3-400. Similar in other parts downstairs the wifi seems poor. Sorry new to this

@Joseph-TP quick update. Tried changing the cable to cat 6 and similar result when connect the extender to tv via cable but leave it on wireless. When i check the ethernet port on router i get correct speed of over 500mbs. When i connect same cable to the tv i only get 70 max. Therefore is it the tv wifi/ethernet capabilities?.
