DCHP Resevrations import hangs
ER707-M2 in standalone mode.
I have 80 DHCP reservations to import.
I export the empty .CSV file - and then put my 80 entries (name, MAC, IP) into the file after the header - creating a file with 81 lines. I am only filling colums A,B, and C - the rest are blank.
I then import that file after saving in CSV format.
Import says " Note: If Export to IP-MAC Binding is selected, the import may take a long time (up to 30 minutes)." OK - not exactly sure what that menas but I waited. Overnight. Still trying to import and clearly not working.
Anyone experienced this? Any tips welcome. Thanks.

This was solved by omada tech support.
I had a leading space in the MAc address field.
Wish it would have spit out an error instead of just hanging the system - but am glad that tech support found the problem.
Thanks for the help.

@grahamk The upload likely failed but did not alert. Ensure the MAC format you are using is XX-XX-XX-XX-XX-XX with dashes in between each pair of characters.
Also, what firmware and hardware version is your device?

ER707-M2 v1.30
1.4.1 Build 20260325 Rel.78146
Thanks - I did replace all the ":" with "-" My format looks like this - of course it's hard to copy/paste - but I am only filling in the first 3 cells - do i need to put something in all of them?
| Network Name | MAC | IP | Option60 | Option66 | Option138 | Option150 | Option159 | Option160 | Option176 | Option242 | Status | Export to IP-MAC Binding | Description |

@grahamk You should only need to fill the first three columns, but that first column should be the name of the LAN you're putting the reservation on, not the device name. The device name can go in a Description column if there is one (don't have an ER707-M2 on me at the moment).

Thanks - I have narrowed my file to one entry and tried so many combinations now I think it is just broken. If anyone happens to have a csv file that is known to work please send it to me. :-)
This is a difficult thing to test because once I start an import the system enters a situation where a new one cannot be started, and it needs to be rebooted to try again. :-|

@grahamk Here's the one I used when testing (not a real MAC address but the format is correct), though this was used in Controller mode for a different model. Maybe try this one?

Having issues uploading the file itself, but this is a CSV file with everything after the 4th column empty.

Well - i thought it was agenius move to put an entry in manually, then export it. Then i deleted the manual entry and imported the file i exported. That worked. So i figure viola! and just changed the one line to a different IP and Mac address and saved as a CSV.
It wont import it. I have tried about 20 different combinations since - with an annoying reboot required between every attempt.
Yikes - this thing is buggy.

@grahamk Do you have a different language on your keyboard / in your OS that could be inputting a different character type when you're typing it in?
If it works when you export and import the file you exported, I'm curious if it's an entry method issue.
