Here's what you can do to resolve it:

Step 1: Hard reset the extender
Use a pin to press and hold the Reset button for about 1 second until all LEDs flash. This will restore the extender to its factory default state.

Step 2: Reconfigure the extender with the new password
After resetting, open the Tether app, tap Add, and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the extender again. During setup, select your router's Wi-Fi network and enter the new password carefully.

Additional tips if the extender still fails to connect after reconfiguration:
• Make sure the extender is placed 2–3 meters away from the router during setup, then move it to the desired location afterward.
• Double-check the new Wi-Fi password by forgetting the router's Wi-Fi on your phone, reconnecting manually, and confirming the password works. (Guide: How to remove existing wireless network profile on Android&iPhone)
