My link extender started flashing all lights, briefly having the power solid and nothing else, then power flashes, and looping that pattern. I moved it into the same room as the router and no change. 

Pressing and holding the reset button (tried 1s, 5s, 30s) just causes all lights to briefly flash and then it does the same loop.

It's 2.5 years old. 

Thoughts?
