Based on the IoT Network feature design, the IoT Network is specifically a Wi-Fi network that's separate from your main network. It's designed for wireless IoT devices to connect to via Wi-Fi credentials (network name and password).

However, since your IoT device is hardwired via Ethernet to the Deco, it cannot connect to the IoT Network's Wi-Fi. Devices connected through Ethernet ports will be on the main network by default.

Important note: Even though the IoT network and main network have different Wi-Fi names, they are still under the same Local Area Network, so they can communicate with each other without issues. This means your wired IoT device on the main network can still interact with wireless IoT devices on the IoT Network if needed.

If you need to isolate your wired IoT device from other devices on your network for security purposes, you might want to look into the Device Isolation feature instead, which works with both wired and wireless devices.

There has been an open beta going on since this Febuary for certain hardware versions of the XE75 pro. If you want to try it you will want to find the hardware version of your deco first and then check the folloing post to see if it can be installed on your units.

You can find your hardware version number on the bottom of your deco.

Thanks

Thanks for your reply, already solved it the next morning, if you stay up to late you are starting to miss things. Everything works fine now.
