My tp link is stuck at a 2023 firmware, and the page says theres a november firmware version. I can't update automatic or manual cause it says "error updating firmware"

The version number 1.0.6 Build 20230831 rel.67466 matches a firmware that is available for the router model "Archer AX3000 V1"

Firmware version 1.0.6 for the actual Archer AX50 was released back in 2020 already.
Please verify again that the firmware update screen (or the label stuck to the underside of your router) indeed reads "Archer AX50 v1.0".
The november version is Archer AX50(US)_V1_1.1.2 Build 20251022.
You are far behind with the v1.0.6. This could be a reason for the error message.
Use Archer AX50(US)_V1_1.0.16 Build 20241206 (from here) first, to see if you can update to and then to a later version.
If that doesn't help you may try the recovery procedure described here (Method 2) using the Archer AX50(US)_V1_1.1.2 Build 20251022 file.
