Hello @rema828 ,
Welcome to our community.
May I know what the model number of your device is? Please refer to

Could you clarify which type of password is being rejected? There are a few different passwords associated with TP-Link range extenders:
1. Wi-Fi password – the password used to connect your phone or computer to the extender's Wi-Fi network.
2. Login/Admin password – the password used to access the extender's web management interface (e.g., via tplinkrepeater.net).
3. TP-Link ID password – the password used to log into the Tether app with your TP-Link account.
If you forgot or incorrect login password to manage the extender / Device is locked
1. Try the default login password, which is often "admin". If it asks for both a username and password, try admin / admin.
2. If that doesn't work, perform a hard reset on the extender by pressing and holding the reset button until the lights flash briefly. This will restore the extender to factory default settings, after which you can set a new login password.
Please note that after a hard reset, you will need to reconfigure the extender to reconnect it to your router. You can do this via the Tether app: How to configure OneMesh Range Extender via Tether app
