Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.5.10 Build 20251119 rel.50509

Hello,

Since setup many months ago I've been running the router with a scheduled reboot every night at 02:00.

Within the latest few weeks, I woke up in the morning to all devices being offline shortly after the reboot. The WiFi signal is broadcasting and devices are still connected to the router (also my iPhone).

When I check from my phone via the Tether app, it says Internet is ONLINE - but it's not working.

All the LED is GREEN in the front of the router. So itself thinks everything is perfect... when it's not.

Only way to get internet working again, is to reboot the router (either by pulling the power on the router or in the app).

It's only some days this happens. This is the second time it had happened

Why woukd you schedule a reboot every night at 02:00 in the first place ?

Is there a chance that you had this issue for a while and you mitigated this using the schedule reboot feature.

If that's the case, most probably you should contact your ISP to test the connection on their end.

Thanks for the reply. I originally scheduled the daily reboot just as a 'best practice' to keep the performance fresh, not because I had issues.

The problem started recently and has occured two times within a couple of weeks. Since the router lights are green and the Tether app says 'Online' and deviced are actually connected to the router but are restricted internet access, it feels like a DHCP or DNS issue locally on the router right after the reboot, rather than the ISP connection dropping. Also because another reboot of the routet solves the problem.

Any ideas on how to fix this, or should I try disabling the schedule entirely? I've had this router for several months, without any other issues at all so far.

I would disable teh schedule reboot for start. If everything works as expected then keep it like that.

if you want to troubleshoot a possible local  DHCP or DNS issue the yo may try the following:

When the issue is present compare your network settings with the same settings when there's no issue.

In command prompt of a Windows computer issue the ipconfig/all command.

Depending on you network connection (wired or wireless) check its parameters:
