Admin password no longer works
I own two of these routers in two physical locations and they are both configured similarly with the same admin complex password which only I know.
Today I was using the app to configure the local router and it kept booting me off back to the login screen but wouldn't login. So I had to quit the app and reenter the password multiple times to finish what I was doing. Eventually it told me the password was not valid and I couldn't log in anymore. Same from a local web browser. I tried rebooting the router by turning it off and back on.
I was configuring a block list and never entered the admin menu or messing with firmware updates, which were already up to date. The router is still functioning but I can't log in anymore. My other router works fine using the same password and I am able to log into that remotely.
This appears to be a bug in the software. I suspect it was caused by the app on my Android device. Normally I use the web browser but in this case I was using the app.
It seems the only solution will be to reset the router.
This is not an error on my part and it is extremely unlikely that I was hacked at the time I was doing this.
Definately some kind of bug in the system. There are multiple reports of this happenning to people.
