Hi, I've been told I can run AX1500 without internet, just to allow 2 devices communicate as part of WiFi network. However, I'm not able to set it up this way...

1. Is it possible? 

  If yes

2. Can somebody guide me through the process

Yes, you can run AX1500 without Internet connection just to connect two devices as part of its LAN (wired or wireless).

You need to just configure teh Ax1500 LAN and Wireless settings and connect two devices to the router.

It depends on your devices if they would be able to communicate to each other. For example

 Make sure that if the devices are Windows computers to configure their wireless network as Private network and enable file network sharing.
