Allow a bridge (such as an EAP211-Bridge) to be connected without having to enable mesh mode for the entire network.

In certain cases where the network is overloaded, I always disable the mesh.
The problem is that the mesh is required to connect the bridges.
I am currently setting up a second site containing only the bridges, but this causes the map to be distorted on the main site because the bridges are missing.

Hi  @Cotchet

Thanks for posting here.

Generally, when an EAP detects both a wired connection and the wireless signals from other EAPs simultaneously, it will prioritize wired bridging. Therefore, enabling mesh does not affect wired bridging within the network. On the contrary, if an EAP’s network cable is damaged or accidentally disconnected, wireless bridging can serve as a backup solution.

>>>Could you please let us know how the map is distorted? Please let us know more details about the sitaution.
