My wifi extender and tp-link app cannot find my router even though im connected
Wps is not working to connect the extender to the router.
Set up through the tp-link Tether app is not working neither.
I'm using DU telecom 5G portable router.
Tp-link app is not able to detect the router, nor the extender.
I used to have a tp-link router and set up was immediate through wps.
Is there any connectivity issue between tp-link devices and DU routers?
How can I address it?

Hello @ZMdbx ,
Welcome to our community.
Regarding WPS and DU telecom router compatibility, we could not find known compatibility issues between TP-Link extenders and DU telecom routers.
Here are some steps to help the Tether app find your range extender:
1. Turn off your mobile data (3G/4G/5G) and any VPN services on your smartphone.
2. Go to your phone's available Wi-Fi list, locate the TP-Link_Extender network, and connect to it directly.
3. For iOS devices, enable "Local Network Access" permission for the Tether app (Settings > Tether app > enable Local Network Access).
4. Update the extender's firmware to the latest version.
5. If your range extender is set to a static IP, ensure it falls within the same subnet as your router.
