can't connect Linux Mint 22 to extender
Hope you can help please,
My extender can be seen and connected to by every device in my house except one. This device can connect to the hub but not the extender. I have used tether.
System:
Kernel: 6.8.0-111-generic arch: x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 13.3.0 clocksource: tsc
Desktop: Cinnamon v: 6.4.8 tk: GTK v: 3.24.41 wm: Muffin v: 6.4.1 vt: 7 dm: LightDM v: 1.30.0
Distro: Linux Mint 22.1 Xia base: Ubuntu 24.04 noble
I have other computers running the same OS and they can connect fine. Also windows and android machines can connect.
Fingers crossed

Hello @Gspace32 ,
Welcome to our community.
Here are some steps to try for this specific device:
1. Restart the affected device and the extender. A simple reboot can sometimes resolve connection issues.
2. Test the device on another Wi-Fi network (such as a mobile hotspot) to confirm its wireless adapter is functioning correctly elsewhere.
3. Update the device's network adapter driver or wireless software. Since this is a Linux system, you may want to check if there are updated kernel modules or firmware for your wireless adapter. You can check for updates via your package manager or the hardware manufacturer's website.

Sorted it myself thanks...
For those of you looking for answers - it's not really a Linux Mint Issue. Update the firmware on your extender and then assign DHCP manually with a static IP. Loads of 'how to' on the net.
