Hello everyone,

 

I am currently planning to upgrade the firmware on my Archer C64 (US) V1. On the official EU support page, i see two firmware versions released with the same build date: 1.14.30 Build 250729 and 1.15.0 Build 250729.

 

Before proceeding with the update, i wanted to check with the community:

 

Has anyone encountered Major bugs or Stability issue (like Wifi dropa, routing leg or unexpected reboots) after installing either of these builds.

 

Are there any noticeble performance improvement or feature fixes that make this upgrade worth it.

 

I want to make sure it doesnot break my current stable setup. Any feedback or Advise from users who have already updated would be highly appreciated.

To your question has been answered in this thread. My C64 has been for a month on the FW release v1.14.30 Build 250729 and then updated to the v1.15.0 Build 250729.

FW release v1.14.30 has been released to address an issue with the Access Control feature in the FW release v1.14.3 Build 241025 Rel.69770n - details.

Keep in mind that if you update to v1.14.30 Build 250729, you can't go back to v1.13.15 Build 240812. And if you decide to go with v1.15.0 Build 250729, you can do that only from v1.14.30 Build 250729, but you can't go back to v1.14.30 Build 250729.

If the router works fine at the moment and I don't need any of the new features or fixes introduced in v1.14.30 Build 250729, I would stay on the current version.

If I need any of the new features or fixes introduced in v1.14.30 Build 250729, I would go for it.
