I have some power sockets where the middle powerline light does stay on, it does flicker occasionally but does not provide a network connection.
The power sockets are not old and worked until recently. They are on a standard ring main and connect through an RCD fusebox as with all standard domestic installs.
I have tried to update firmware with the utility, this is reported as 500A-1.1.0.844-01-20120919-FINAL.
The sockets are on the same ring main as other sockets that work. I have removed the socket and reinstalled wiring, cleaning contacts, but the powerline still does not connect
Can you advise what I can try to get the socket working again?
