Advice please.

Can anyone assist or is there anyone on this forum who has successfully connected their TL-MR6400 to a Nest thermostat - I've been through all the port settings with Nest Customer support and turned off WPA2 but I still cannot connect - I can get the Nest to work if I use my iPhone's hot-spot but not through the MR6400 - anyone who has some success stories and tips - I am all ears!.

Thanks in advance
Justin

Solution: set DNS addresses in DHCP settings
2017-07-03 04:17:53
After hours of trial and error, I finally found a solution.
On the admin website of TP-LINK, go to DHCP > DHCP Settings, and set Primary and Secondary DNS. You can use Google's DNS for instance : 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Then go to System tools > Reboot and reboot the router.

It worked for me :-)

Thanks for the reply I'm going to try this at the weekend - do those google DNS work if that's what I were to use? I nearly put this router on eBay I'd got so fed up with it!
