Model : TL-WPA4220

Hardware Version :

Firmware Version : 1.3.0

ISP :

Just updated the firmware to 1.3.0. This version can only be updated using the tpPLC utility.
More about that tool in a next thread, but for this thread: I succeeded after a while to update
the firmware in both items (the base unit and the AV500 unit). However... where tpPLC shows
the new firmware version, the web interface of the AV500 (the base unit does not have a web
interface) shows the old information (still 1.2.8). Not only that, the webinterface does not
reflect the changes made in the firmware (500 -> 600) nor the new firmware format (two files
in stead of one .bin).
Since the tpPLC tool is not a complete alternative to the web configuration, the question now
is: can this be solved?

The firmware released in April of 2016 should give you 600mbits over powerline. Mine is flashed and the web interface reports "1.2.8 Build 140401 Rel.50484n" (this is the version for Canada). The extra speed probably won't matter because the Ethernet ports on both units are 100mbps. You need a network of these things all communicating with each other, not drawing from a single point, for that 600mbps to make a difference.
