Configure MR200 as access point
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :

Hi,
I have 2 Archer MR200. My house has two floors.
Upstairs I have one Archer MR200 configured as 3G/4G router. This router:

is on 192.168.1.1 lan address

works as DCHP server

has two wirelesse SIDs (upstairs_2g and upstairs_5g)
SInce the upstairs router does not cover all downstairs rooms, I have connected the two floors with a network cable.
Now I am able to connect the second Archer MR200 with the first one through a cable.
I would like to use the downstairs router as a access point but:

the DHCP server must remain the one in the upstairs router (so all devices are in the same net)

the downstairs router should not have a separate SID for the wirless connesction

If I am downstairs I want to have only 2 possible wireless SIDs (for 2G or 5G) and not 4 (two for upstairs router and 2 for downstairs router).
Any suggestions?
Andrea
