I bought a TL-WPA4226KIT, and it works fine, but I want to turn off the LEDs on the TL-WPA4220. I downloaded the utility, but the button to turn off the LED in the utility doesn't work. It only makes the device lose connectivity for about 15 seconds or so. The LEDs stay on though. Any other way to do it?It wouldn't even be a big deal, but the Wifi LED blinks annoyingly, no matter if a device is connected via Wifi or not (no idea what its purpose really is), so since the device is right next to the TV, I need to turn it off. If there is no software way to do it, then I guess I will have to use duct tape.

The web interface of the WPA should let you do this.

Sadly no. I went through all the settings pages several times now, and there is nothing relating to the LEDs.Looks like it's going to be duct tape. Also not great for a device in my living room, but better than blink-blinkety-blink-blink-blink...

Can't switch of LEDs on TL-WPA4220

I have the same problem. The "Turn off LEDs on all devices" button does switch off the LEDs on the parent unit, but not on the satellite adaptors, which are the ones you really don't want flickering next to your TV. Is there a solution yet? Would a firmware update address this problem?

@frustrated99 First of all, update all your powerline adapters to the latest available firmware for the hardware version you own using the tp link utility for your PC. Then use this utility to turn off the LEDs. This is done with the LED button, it turns off all LEDs on all powerline adapters.
