Archer C7 cannot obtain IP address

I recently purchased an Archer C7 but have been unable to connect it to the internet as it cannot obtain an IP address. I have contacted my ISP and they told me I have a dynamic IP but the router will not recognise it.
Anyone have any suggestions as I am unable to contact TP-Link diectly. When I try to ring they support line, they do not take calls from a mobile phone and my emails will not submit for some reason.
