AV2000 Powerline LED won't completely turn off

So my pair of AV2000 powerlines doesn't seem to respect the "LED off" command in the TP Link app.
I've set both to be completely off, yet they still blink their LED - https://goo.gl/photos/tCNnxrb121gCaZZk7
Which is not ideal when one is in a bedroom and the other is in the kid's room lighting everything up at night.
Is there a way to make them completely dark and nothing blinking?
