Connection in certain parts of the house

This is my first post. We recently got and extension and a loft conversion which finished in January 2017. We have been using powerline adaptors in these rooms for the smart TV (extension) and for the PS4 (Loft conversion). From then until about 2 weeks ago the powerline adaptors have been working perfectly fine in these. However now the devices mentioned have no internet connection. The adaptors work in the original parts of the house. My PS4 is able to get WiFi, however the connection speed is very low. Upload and download speeds are less than 1 MB. The router works fine as well having called our network provider and the said everything was running well.
What could the problem be? Please help.
