Why aren´t there any firmware updates for the TL-PA4016 KIT? I can´t find anything, so how should I update it?

TL-PA4016P KIT has been discontinued for a long time. I can't find any firmware update either.
Why do you want to update the firmware？ Normally powerline adapters have no firmware update cause it rarely have software function.
