Hello,

First of it, sorry about my english, i am french :)

I bought the ARCHER MR200, and i am very happy about it. It is really better than my small ADSL connexion.
I would like to change the antenna, for a better stability.
I saw that one : TL-ANT5823B
Do i have to do something special to use it?
Or maybe you have something better to propose me?

Hi Sid,

Are you sure that this antenna you mentioned is for mobile data networks?

I'm using this model here, works fine for me:
http://poynting.tech/product/xpol-1/

This one is a so called Omni directional antenna, which means that you don't need to have a line of sight to the LTE / 3G mast you want to connect to.

The antenna on MR6400 is for sending and receiving 4G data, not for wireless signal.
Even replacing the antenna with a 5Ghz wireless antenna, the router won't have 5GHz wireless.
This is limited by the hardware or chipset.

To extend the wireless range or get 5Ghz, you can consider to purchase a dual band wireless repeater.

Hello !

i have contacted TP-LINK, and there is no antenna for 3g/4g signal with a TP-LINK antenna.
I bought that one : https://www.amazon.fr/gp/product/B01E7CWNSI/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
With a SMA cable.
I saw a lot of good reviews about this product. I am waiting it, i will install it in few days, and let you know !
