Just registered to thank you for making that inofficial update public.

Using TL-PA8030P(EU)-170616-2.4.0-BETA on my five PA8030P V1 adapters. The update on 4 of them worked at once. Received an error on 1 of them, but on the second try to flash the firmware it worked on this adapter as well. :)

Everything is stable, good to see the community provides updates that TP-Link won't do...

Searching for many hours at last I found these beta firmwares from TP-Link that solves connection drop or standby problems on my adapters. I both use 8010 and 8030. So you may interest for these firmwares. I uploaded them to my drive.

Just want to say thanks guys. I ballsed up and reset my desktops adaptor and it wouldn't play ball after that. For the last 2 1/2 hours I've been trying to fix and this new firmware and the latest legit utility have saved the day.

A glass or three of Carmenere is in order.
