Case One: Project the PC with a TP-link adapter to other displays

1. Make sure your Windows computer is ready for Miracast>>How to check whether your computer is ready for Miracast
2. Make sure Wi-Fi is turned on.
3. Make sure the display you want to project to supports Miracast and that it's turned on. If it doesn't, you'll need a Miracast adapter (sometimes called a dongle) that plugs into an HDMI port.
4. Make sure your device drivers are up to date and the latest firmware is installed for your wireless display or adapter (see the support info on the manufacturer's website for instructions or search Microsoft Store for your manufacturer's app to help you).
5. Restart your PC and the wireless display or adapter.

6. To remove the device, select Start
> Settings  > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices. Under Wireless displays & docks, select the wireless display or adapter, then select Remove device > Yes. Try reconnecting.

  1. Press the “” and “R” keys at the same time. Enter “ncpa.cpl” in the pop-out window, and check whether there’s an adapter like this.

bIf there isn’t, press “” and “S” keys at the same time and enter “Device Manager”>Network Adapters to disable/re-enable or uninstall/reinstall Microsoft Wi-Fi Direct Virtual Adapter.

3. Connect both devices to the same 2.4/5G band.

5. Sometimes the Windows Defender Firewall may affect Miracast. Press “” and “R” keys at the same time. Enter “firewall.cpl” and then turn off the Firewall for Private networks.

6. Check if the services needed are all running. Press the “” and “R” keys at the same time. Enter “services.msc” in the pop-out window.

8. If all the above suggestions failed to work, it is suggested to use screen mirroring software or Apps that support Miracast.
