I have a TL WDR3600 wifi router and it does several things strangely and I suspect the firmware is not correct.

1) It always needs to be rebooted when the SSID is changed
2) If I change the channel on the 2.4 Gig ant any of the 11 channels it remans on channel 6
3) When I look under wireless under system log I do not see any connected devices even though connected devices are connected.

Firmware Version: 3.14.3 Build 151104 Rel.44824n
Hardware Version: WDR3600 v1 00000000




Can anyone confirm the operation of this dual band router is correct:mad:

For some old UI routers like WDR3600, it needs to be reboot to make the changes take effect. And you can check the Wireless Statistics to view the Current Connected Wireless Stations.

However, couldn't be correct if the channels remains on 6 after you have forced it to some other channles. Does it work in router mode or you have set it as extender ( wireless bridging to other router)? How long does it been like this?

I defaulted and rconfigured to correct the channel problem. However the logs still show no activity for wireless.

Is it possible that my Tp-link could be comprimised? It does not show logs. Is this normal?:(
