I have a new VR2800dual band WiFi router which is so far pretty good.I want to add a media bridge to it. I have a spare Asus router that can go into that mode. A media bridge acts as a switch for hard wired devices and connects wirelessly to a WiFi router for internet access. The TP-Link AC2800 is replacing a home hub 5 which accepted a connection from the Asus router in bridge mode no problem. Now when trying to connect the Asus to the tp-link, it cannot see it. Even when I enter the details to the tp-link manually, the two will not connect.Am I missing something? Is there a setting on the tp-link router that needs switched on to allow the Asus bridge to connect? Thanks.

It's more like some settings on Asus router. Maybe you need to change IP address on that router or turn off DHCP on that router. There's no such settings on TP-LINK as I know.

Seems my 2.4ghz WiFi on the tp-link is at fault. Signal is awful. Even when sitting next to the router..
