Hi Team,

I'm just up to configure a TL-WR841N. DHCP needs to be off in the mainuser network, another DHCP Server is running in that network. Nevertheless DHCP is required for the Guest WiFi of course.

When I deactivate the DHCP Server it is also deactivated for the Guest network. How can this be solved?

Thanks in advance,
Nic

Tick " Allow Guest To Access My Local Network" on guest network setting screen.

Hi flying snow,

that does not make sense for me. What good is a guest network if I allow users to get access to my internal network.

Is there no way to disable the DHCP server for the non-guest network only?

Thanks,
Nic

Nope...when the DHCP is off, the devices connect to the router actually get IP address directly from the main router, the guest nee in the same network with the main wifi.
So with the DHCP off, this one must ticked
