TP-Link RE580D AC1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender cannot connect to my home WIFI network
Model : RE580D
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Hello,
I purchased a TP-Link RE580D AC1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender not long ago, and set it up to my parents home. it worked for a while. However I disconnected the power for my main WIFI router because i needed to relocate it. When i turned it back on the Range Extender cannot connect to WIFI router anymore.
I tried the following:
Reset the range extender to factory default;
Followed the instructions to set it up again (I have tried set it up using a computer browser, i also tried using the Mobile app). After it has finished, it just said the connection between the WIFI router and the extender has a problem.
I also tried the WPS button way, but it cannot connect either.
The Router is a NetComm (please find attached the photos), Other devices can connect to WIFI without any problem.
I also brought the extender to my own home, it can connect to my WIFI router. So there is something going on between the NetComm router and the extender.
Could anyone please advise what i should do?
Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Lin
