Model : AC750 WiFi Range Extender Model No. RE210

Hardware Version : RE210 v1 00000000

Firmware Version : 3.14.2 Build 150514 Rel.37922n

ISP :

Hello,

I use for about two years a RE210. For a month or two, I get trouble I never got before. Devices, which in the past always connect without any issue to the RE210, can now fail to connect. A device which can't connect today may connect tomorrow. What is new in my house? I have now a "lot" ( around 15) of Home Automation devices always connected to the RE210 but their bandwidth usage is very low (max 1 message per minute and per device).

Do you have any idea about what could be the problem, what I can do?

have you tried the latest FW:
http://www.tp-link.com/fr/download/RE210.html#Firmware
it said that optimized the connection stabilization

I've done further tests. It seems that the firmware doesn't allow more than 16 wireless stations connected.

Hello Shield101,
Thanks for your answer. Yes, I've seen there is a more recently firmware than the one I use. Do you know what exactly TP-LINK has modified in this latest firmware?
