VR400 printing to usb port, from linux
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I've got the printer to work from a windows machine, connected to the usb port, via a wireless connection. However attempting to configure printing from my Ubuntu Linux 17.10 box and not having any luck. Can anyone tell me how to configure the port, specifically ports 631 and 9100 ? I'm using a tool callled nmap and it finds the ports, just says they are closed and I don't know how to to open them.
PORT STATE SERVICE9100/tcp closed jetdirect
This is my unit and have updated the firmware:
Firmware Version:0.2.0 0.9.1 v0070.0 Build 170719 Rel.63031n Hardware Version:Archer VR400 v2 00000000
Thanks,
Jim
