Bands problem with Archer C5400
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
I just bought my first tp-link router and before switching every devices to it I wanted to test the range between my old router and this one.On the 2.4GHZ band and on the 5GHZ band #2 my test show that the tp-link got more range and more dbm. The problem is with 5GHz band #1, in all my test and everywhere in and out of my house this band perform poorly. Example in my kitchen 5ghz band #2 is at -53dBm but #1 is at -70dBm (see image attached, TP-LINK_D7EE, TP-LINK_D7EE_5G_1, TP-LINK_D7EE_5G_2 is my new router, GPL my old one). Should I exchange this router for a new one or is this not a problem with my router and something else?
