Hello,

I just installed an Archer C25 V1 last week.
It automatically detected its WAN address without any problem (ISP = Numéricable, ISP Router = Netgear CG3100L in bridge mode).

Yesterday Numéricable changed our IP and the Archer C25 lost its Internet connection. All external IP parameters had returned to zero.
I had to redo an on / off so that he finds the new WAN address.

This is unacceptable. A router must know switch to the new address when the WAN ISP changes.

I tried to join the French support without success and that's why I'm using this forum.

I'll go on holidays and I do not want my house to be unreachable via the Net during this time.

Can anybody help me ?

Thank you in advance

Regards - Jean-Paul

Can you get internet if you connect PC to Netgear CG3100L directly?
Make sure the former network device is working properly.
Then, try to reconfigure the Archer C25.
If should work with new network info propelry.

Yes, Internet was OK from my ISP side.
After an "easy configuration" the Archer C25 got is new WAN address and everything went OK.
But I have to do that at home. If I am away it's impossible to connect home, my house becomes unreachable
Incredible ...
