TP-Link RE500 Performance Issues and Updated Firmware (Personal Experience and Wirecutter Review)
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :

I recently purchased the TP-Link RE500 range extender after using it for a few days I found that the performance (speed) to drop significantly, I am running 3 devices on the extender, and I have to reset the router at lease once a day to get the speed back to normal. Having looked online for answers I came across the wirecutter review ( https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-wi-fi-extender/) , which suggests there is an issue with extenders firmware. I am currently running on the latest firmware To quote the review:
Does anyone know if there is a fix to the issue I am having? And when an updated firmware fix will be released?
